What is the purpose of the clip?

A music video is one of the main and most effective ways for musicians to promote a new single, album, or concert tour.
The director’s task when working on a music video is very broad — they need to accurately capture the artist’s essence, musical style, references from the world of cinema, fashion, painting, and many other factors. On top of everything else, it is a big plus if the clip maker has a musical education. This helps them communicate with musicians on the same wavelength.

A director’s musicality is a very important quality when creating music videos. In addition to my directing experience, I also have a musical education and extensive background as a music lover, which is very helpful when working with musicians and creating music videos in general. Over the course of 10 years of professional work, I have accumulated a portfolio of music video projects, including music videos, book trailers, and dance videos. I have collaborated with both emerging and well-known musical groups, both Russian and foreign, including Picnic (Russia), Current’93 (United Kingdom), In Strict Confidence (Germany), and Abney Park (United States).
