RED CHAINS 2014

Based on a mystical noir novel by Konstantin Obraztsov, which is the winner of the national literary award “The manuscript of the Year” 2013.
A series of bloody cruel murderers are committed in the city obviously by the adherents of a bloody ritual. Two main characters – a mortician, keeping his own dark secrets, and a woman criminologist – begin their own investigation. It is a dark story where medieval mystery, crimes of passion, madness and loneliness are woven into a single red chain.
